Welcome to de’Medici Classical Acupuncture

In Chinese medicine, any illness or symptom, whether it be a knee pain, headache, indigestion or a severe depression, is associated with an imbalance in a person’s energy. Classical Acupuncture affects the whole person, body and mind, and treatment is directed to relieving the cause of the person’s problems rather than to suppressing a symptom.

What Is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient system of medicine 2,000-5,000 years old. It is based on the principle that the vital life force, “CHI” energy circulates throughout our bodies via specific pathways of energy called meridians.

Client Testimonials

What our customers say about us

I have known Michele since 1994 and have been receiving acupuncture care throughout the years from her for various reasons. Most recently I have started to receive Energy Work from her as I navigate my journey through my cancer treatments. I have been amazed as to how I feel afterwards.

Michele’s treatments are delivered individualized to you and in a very caring and nurturing way to the soul and spirit. I highly recommend her services!

AnnDurango, Co

I have been receiving acupuncture treatments from Michele de’Medici RN; L.Ac. periodically over the last 15 years. I have sought treatment for low energy, depression, sluggish digestion, and pain issues. I have always felt better after the first treatment, and commonly am back to my normal self within 4 to 6 acupuncture treatments.

I have continued to return to Michele’s care because of her thorough assessment, attentive listening, and individualized treatments which are always reviewed at the next appointment. The acupuncture point selection can then be adjusted to better address my current needs.

Michele is highly trained, educated and well versed in a number of treatment styles, all which are presented in a caring and healing environment that she has taken the time to create.

I grew up in a family of physicians. We pursued amoxicillin, not acupuncture. But as a scientist myself, I was drawn to data supporting classical acupuncture treatments, and to Michele who has a background as an RN and years under her belt. My experience with Michele has had such a great impact that I now recommend her to friends and family. There’s not one panacea for good health, but acupuncture has been a big piece of the pie for me. From stress to migraines to pelvic floor pain, I will continue to work with Michele and think you will have success with her too.
